ABOUT  the  MARKETS in NORDEGG

It all started with the NCA's Annual Christmas Market...

A Pop-Up Crafters Market was then added to the Nordegg Days festivities in 2022, with only a handful of Artisans & Crafters
set up around town showcasing their unique creations in wood, textiles, paint & preserves. Nordegg now hosts three distinct seasonal markets.

Nordegg’s 2026 Annual Market Series
Spring Market | Bluegrass Flower Sale - Weekend after May-Long, Saturday, May 23 / Sunday, May 24 - weather dependent
Nordegg Days | Mountains & Mines Market - every September Long Weekend, Saturday Sept. 5 / Sunday Sept. 6
NCA's Annual Christmas Market | Mine Light Up - every second weekend in November, Saturday Nov. 14 / Sunday Nov. 15

Which Market Fits You?
Based on feedback from locals & visitors, expect some thoughtful changes as Nordegg’s markets continue to evolve,
each market is thoughtfully curated to reflect the season, setting, and community it serves. While core requirements apply
across all events, vendor selection is market-specific and based on fit, balance, and overall experience.

Applications are reviewed as expressions of interest and are not assessed on a first-come basis.

Nordegg’s Book of Potluck Recipes Supports Local Youth Education

Buy Yours Here!!!

Nordegg’s Book of Potluck Recipes – Handcrafted Limited First Edition was created as a community fundraiser and dedicated in memory of Laura Anderson. Featuring 15 local family favourites, the first year’s profits were donated to the NCA Education Fund to help Nordegg youth pursue further education, whether through trades, college, or university.

Thanks to everyone who purchased a book, shared a recipe, and helped bring this project to life. Proceeds from the first printing provided a $1,000 scholarship cheque to Laura’s daughter, Karlee Anderson, to assist with tuition and books.

Copies are available online or in person at:

ROADHOUSEarts Craft Shack
