It all started with the NCA's Annual Christmas Market...

A Pop-Up Crafters Market was then added to the Nordegg Days festivities in 2022, with only a handful of Artisans & Crafters
set up around town showcasing their unique creations in wood, textiles, paint & preserves.

As part of our Alberta Farmers Market approval, Nordegg’s Annual Market Series includes;

Spring Fling - For the first time ever, coming to life this June 2025!
Nordegg Days - Mountains & Mines Market - every September Long Weekend
NCA's Annual Christmas Market - every second weekend in November

2025 NCA Christmas Market

This year brings exciting changes! The market has moved from the Nordegg Community Hall to the Nordegg Discovery Centre, where we’ll be taking over the second floor. The move allows us to:
  • Welcome more vendors!
  • Offer better parking and improved access,
  • Provide access to the West Fraser Outdoor Discovery Park, with its kids park, pump track and beautifully crafted gazebo with picnic tables.
  • Come Hungry! The new NCA Grill will be serving specialty Christmas Burgers as a BBQ Fundraiser. ​

2025 Mountains & Mines Market | Nordegg Days

Nordegg’s annual Mountains & Mines Market returns as part of the Nordegg Days festivities over the September Long Weekend, Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31 from 10.00am to 4.00pm on Cheri Avenue, beside the historic Nordegg Church.

Celebrate local makers, artisans, and the spirit of community in the heart of Nordegg's Historic Core. The Nordegg Days Show & Shine will also be returning to take place on Saturday, August 30 - read about the ​2024 Show.

Rain or shine, the Market runs all weekend.

This Handcrafted Limited First Edition has been filled with 15 local family favourites, with the first year’s profits going towards the printing costs of a larger community cookbook next year, and the profits from all other Editions to go into an NCA Education Fund to assist Nordegg kids in furthering their education, whether that be for a Trade, College or University.
