It all started with the NCA's Annual Christmas Market...

A Pop-Up Crafters Market was then added to the Nordegg Days festivities in 2022, with only a handful of Artisans & Crafters
set up around town showcasing their unique creations in wood, textiles, paint & preserves.

Based on feedback from locals & visitors, expect some thoughtful changes as Nordegg’s markets continue to evolve.

Market focus. A seasonal market centered on growth, renewal, and practical spring living, evolving around Bluegrass Nursery's Annual Flower Sale.

  • Antiques & Vintage (selective, quality-driven, inside the Hall on Saturday)
  • Local gear swap (community-led, inside the Hall on Sunday)

A lively, open-air celebration of Nordegg’s outdoor culture, working landscapes, and mountain community—bringing together adventure, craft, and local food in one shared setting in the heart of Nordegg's Historic Core on Cheri Avenue, beside the Nordegg Community Church.

  • Trail, camp, bike, paddle, and mountain-adjacent goods
  • Locally made apparel, gear, and functional crafts
  • Local artisans with strong craftsmanship and small-batch producers

November 14–15, 2026 ~ Indoors at the Nordegg Discovery Centre

Market focus.
This is an intentionally smaller, indoor event centered on community connection, warmth, and the shared experience of gathering in winter. It is designed to feel welcoming and distinctly local. Preference is given to vendors who reside in Nordegg, Bighorn, and Smallboy, followed by the surrounding region, in keeping with the community-driven nature of this event.

  • Well-crafted, maker-driven goods
  • Local artisans and small-batch producers
  • Giftable items with strong craftsmanship and a clear story
  • Work that reflects care, skill, and thoughtful making

  • Indoor market at the Nordegg Discovery Centre
  • Limited vendor capacity to maintain atmosphere and flow
